Data we collect
First name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional), destination, period and number of travellers, and the message entered in our request forms. When you book: the information needed for the trip (names of participants, dates, chosen services).
Why we use it
To answer your request, prepare a trip proposal, then organise and follow your booking, with your consent (box ticked before sending) or to perform your travel contract. Your data is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
Who has access
The Golden Palm’s Travel team, through its mailbox and management area; our technical host OVH; and, for a confirmed booking, only the providers who deliver your services (hotels, carriers, guides), for the information they need and nothing more.
Suppliers and technical exchanges
To book accommodation, we send the supplier concerned (for example a hotelier or a booking platform, through a secure technical connection) only the information needed for your booking: travellers’ names, dates, group composition and, if necessary, a contact method. No payment data is sent to these suppliers. They do not receive your request messages. Some suppliers may be located outside Tunisia, notably in the European Union; data is sent only to carry out your booking. If the supplier does not reply, your request stays recorded with us and our team answers you directly: you do not need to submit it again. To correct or delete a request, write to us (see “Your rights”).
Retention period
3 years after the last contact for a request with no follow-up; for a booking, the period required by our accounting and tax obligations. You may ask for your data to be deleted at any time, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Cookies and audience measurement
The site remembers your language choice in your browser. Only with your consent (banner shown on your first visit), it uses Google Analytics to measure traffic statistically (pages viewed, origin of visits); this service then sets cookies. Without consent, no measurement cookie is set. No targeted advertising is used.
Your rights
You may access your data, correct it, ask for its deletion or object to its use by writing to bonjour@goldenpalmsholidays.com, in accordance with Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 on the protection of personal data and, for visitors from the European Union, the GDPR. We reply within one month.
