Overview
You arrive by plane, a rental car is waiting for you and every night is booked. You drive on your own with your roadbook, and a guide joins you for the 4x4 day in the Sahara.
The car is waiting for you at your arrival airport (Tunis-Carthage, Enfidha, Monastir or Djerba) and the loop starts from there. You choose your dates.
Excursions into the uninhabited desert areas beyond Douz and Ksar Ghilane depend on authorisations from the ONTT (Tunisian National Tourist Office). If access is closed on your dates, we adapt the itinerary and let you know in good time.

Arrival
Car handover at your arrival airport, with a photo check by our team. End of the day in Sidi Bou Said. The program is shown departing from Tunis; it is adapted if you arrive in Enfidha, Monastir or Djerba.

Carthage · Dougga · Kairouan
The ruins of Carthage in the morning, then Dougga, the finest Roman site in the country (UNESCO). Arrival in Kairouan.

Medina, Great Mosque, Aghlabid basins and a makroudh workshop with a pastry cook in the medina.

Sbeitla · Tozeur
The temples of Sufetula in Sbeitla, then the drive to Tozeur.

Mountain oases

Your car stays at the camp. A guide takes you by 4x4 through the dunes to Ksar Ghilane and its hot spring.

Drive back north and visit the El Jem amphitheatre and its mosaic museum.

Back to the airport
